The Walsenburg Police Department (WPD) is the municipal law enforcement agency serving the City of Walsenburg, Colorado, in Huerfano County. The department provides patrol, criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, crime prevention, and emergency response. Walsenburg re-established its own police department in 2025 after the previous department was dissolved in 2016 and law enforcement services were provided primarily by the Huerfano County Sheriff's Office.
